About

The way we access information on motorcycles (through instruments on dashboard) has not really improved since motorcycles were first developed a century ago. AR combined with smartphone computing now provides us with the building blocks to provide key information at eye level for motorcyclists without being distracting or detracting from the ride experience.

Our mission is to connect motorcyclists with their machines in a way that transforms the ride experience by delivering crucial information about their bike, route and ride group through our REYEDR HUD and smartphone App. Leisure motorcycling is a popular recreational activity in the developed countries. The social aspect of the App is designed to connect bikers to this large community and discover new routes, through those who have ridden them in the past or to experience with those in their ride group. Motorcycling is a risky sport. By keeping riders geo-connected with their group and the ability to alert emergency services, we give riders and non-riding loved ones peace of mind.

Our venture is conceived as a born-global firm, with operations in Auckland, New Zealand. We have attracted interest and support for our venture from the outset. We were finalists in the University of Auckland Spark (Velocity) Entrepreneurship Challenge 2015, and Alumni of the Lightning Lab Digital Accelerator 2016.

The REYEDR HUD V2 prototype was showcased to the world at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 2017. REYEDR was 1 of the 10 companies in the New Zealand contingent at Eureka Park Marketplace, Sands Hall G. The response and validation we received at CES from industry, consumers and media was overwhelming.

In May, we won 2017 Display Component of the Year from SID (Society of Information Displays), USA. It was truly an honour to receive this award alongside tech giants: LG, Samsung, Apple and Sony.

We are now in the DFM (Design for Manufacture) stage of development to ready the product for commercial release.
